Original game was so fucking easy and bland. I finished on release, no DLC. Never bothered with camp building, only bare minimum for progression purposes, never did any rituals etc. and didn't die even once. Game was carried by music and style alone, gameplay is shit, maybe DLC adds actuall content on that front, idk. RIP river boy.

I guess you're better at it than I was. I thought the base building was boring, so I tried doing the minimum with it and focusing on the dungeon crawling, but everybody went apostate and nothing I did seemed to stop it even though I tried doing rituals and stuff. It seemed like I was stuck in a spiral of all my followers going apostate and nothing was working, so I got annoyed and quit, never picked it up again.
