Agreed. I still liked the setting of 3 better, but 4 was fun. I liked 5. Couldn't get into New Dawn. I haven't tried 6. Is there a 7 yet? I forgot.

Oh yeah, played that too, it was good. Favorites are still 3 and 4, then 5, then Primal.

Oh wait, Blood Dragon is top next to 3. The non-serious nature of everything is awesome. Also no fall damage and a great soundtrack.

It was impressive for its time but it was also very difficult, it plays like a worse version of Crysis

Far Cry 4 was really short, maybe I missed something but you start the game, get sat down at dinner, wait around for a little bit while people talk and then the guy comes back and you fly off in a helicopter and the credits roll.
It looked great but it's definitely on the shorter side.

The main problem was, at the game's launch, the enemies being able to spot you 10 miles away even though you were behind several bushes and trees. Far Cry has since patched that problem.

Far cry 3/4 are equal. Far cry 2 was basically Crysis in that it's a glorified tech demo.

It drops the spaghetti half way into the game.
And it is one of those games that, easy difficult is too easy, hard difficulty is too hard.
Or you deal with dumb enemies or enemies that can kill you with 2 shots across the map (oh, they also see you before you see them)

It's incredibly difficult, even if you install the mod that lets you quicksave instead of rely on checkpoints. It also has nothing to do with the rest of the series Besides Hurk mentioning Jack in passing in either 3 or 4, but that could also be referencing the Jack Carver from Ubisoft's console AU versions of FC1 since it was a Crytek game.

With the bug that lets enemies see you through everything fixed, it's not bad. Just brutal. Maybe not so much on baby mode, but on Realistic? Fuuuuck.

Nobody who calls a game a tech demo has ever actually played it. I've found that to be the case based on every single person who has made the claim. There's a full game there, and you'd pick up on that if you played it instead of looking at the tech it uses and concluding it's somehow not a game.

Far cry 3-5 was a cheat code innit. I hate ubishit as much as the next guy but all three games are fantastic.
