Likely never. Although Nintendo bought out the IP it's basically Taura's child and Taura left PG so the only way it could happen is if Nintendo gets Taura a studio to develop it as well like Kamiya is doing with Okami. I'll be surprised if it happens.

I know it isn't REALLY nintendo's fault, it's platinum's for even developing the game in that way knowing what system it was being made for, but jesus fucking christ, what a terrible look for everyone involved. Not only is it using a hideous cel-shaded anime art style, designed to look appealing whilst not being graphically intensive, and yet it STILL taxes the fuck out of the system.

I see a lot of people complaining about the downtime and the investigation stuff when talking about this game but honestly I like that part of it, makes it feel more like you're actually a detective.
The silent PC stuff sucks though, charismatic protagonists are Platinum's forte so having your character just be an autistic mute the whole game really takes a lot from the story
