whats the big deal with silk song? seems like the game is coming out of nowhere and everyone here is talking about it like its a gigantic mega blockbuster of some kind, I'm not trying to antagonize I'm genuinely like.. why? how?

probably. hollow knight was a sleeper hit that built a reputation over years. silksong will be a huge hit on day 1 thanks to it
you see a similar phenomenon with movies where a good movie will have a poor box office reception, get word of mouth buzz with dvds and rentals, and then the sequel will be a huge success
