i think i might cave and buy one of these the idea of having a pocket full of games is just too tempting but what one should i buy? i have heard they pretty much universally only have like 5 hours of battery life and no i wont fall for the scam of a preloaded one

Battery life depends heavily on what you're playing. You can get about 8 hours when playing SNES or GBA games, but Dreamcast will halve that.

Just buy anything from Anbernic that you like. The "preloaded" roms come on shitty SD cards that you have to change anyway for your own

Download your own software, like MuOS or Kunlii or how the fuck it is called and download your own roms. Badabing
