The game's storytelling has the same issues Genshin does, being overly verbose and basically enticing you to skip all dialogue instead of listening the MCs do the same thinking animations while displaying two dialogue choices which are literally the same message. They could have used AI to generate more manga panels, but instead we get the dreaded black screen with white text on a constant basis.
They even tried adding an open world-like area, but completely fucked it up by giving it zero purpose outside of finding 4-5 chests per zone, 1 marcel maze per zone, and dumb click on thing to unlock path mechanics. After that, the area is legit just empty and not worth revisiting ever.
The tower is another one and done, but there's no need to go beyond getting the rewards since being on the ladder for a dead af game is meaningless. Also the battles are just the same annoying HP inflated demonized shielded enemies.
Finally, the character interactions are so fucking lame that you now just have a "quality time invite" where you slowly walk/run to an area while they yell at you to not go so fast and then they stop at the area and just ramble in place for 5 minutes.
