I thought that was the point? It's a horror story, it should be disturbing and disgusting.
Not watching it btw.

What? For the genre it's a huge success. Both in Japan and the west, though more so in Japan because the entire genre is much more successful there. But it's still one of the most successful VNs published in the west too.

When I become world dictator, I will hire a massive team of people to hunt down zoomers who make video essays with inflammatory titles and squirt them with a spray bottle like a misbehaving cat.

Amazing anyone still cares about this. VNs have their niche and their classics I guess.

Can people not empathize with a flawed or evil character and still understand that their actions were wrong? The VN is using the themes of eldritch horror to portray an individual's fall into depravity and joyous psychosis when abandoning their humanity. The idea of finding love and meaning in the inhumane is a terrifying thought that should help contextualize how suffering is inflicted by the insane's rationalization of their predicament and the world around them. But obviously this reviewer cannot accept that conclusion since he, and his kind, are great examples of such a notion in action.

Not in current year. Zoomers absolutely shit and piss themselves if a piece of art is not 100% morally secure, they think all media should be black and white "good things = good, bad things = bad" slop

It's not just zoomers. I used to have an acquaintance that I played MMOs with that went to see Nightcrawler with some other friends and me. Afterwards, he told us that he didn't really like the movie. We asked why and he said that "there was no protagonist to root for" and that "the movie was just mean spirited" explaining that Jake Gyllenhaal's character faced no repercussions for his actions. He just didn't see the point of the film and called it a "feel bad movie." We kinda thought he was joking or something, but he started getting defensive and upset, accusing us of not having standards/compassion/etc. Some people just cannot properly wrap their heads around stories/protagonists with moral ambiguity, relativism, and antipathy in fiction.

People like that have always existed but zoomers are particularly bad when it comes to consuming anything non kosher.

I typed in your entire title and couldn't find the video. You must be real small time, maybe try sealing up the pus wound between your legs and try again.
