I liked it.

I liked the experience of being in the Pokemon World, having a pet Pikachu and getting to interact with other Pokemon. I liked the Party Panic episode. I LOVED decorating my room with shit you bought off of the TV.

It did exactly what it was supposed to do: let an 8 year old kid (me) live out his fantasy of having a pet Pokemon.

It was made for the era of renting games. The game takes place over 5 real-life days, after that the game ends. So you rent the game from blockbuster and return it 5 days later later.
