Has the UN done enough to inspire such a game? The only event I know about was when Irish peacekeepers had to fight their way out of the Congo.

You can kill them in a HOI4 mod called the fire rises when they try to take over Florida.

I always liked how the UN goons were portrayed very humanely in Deus Ex, with shedding their humanity being a requirement to advance up the ranks. The game gets so many things right it really is amazing. The writer(s) really did their research. It's a shame so many of those concepts presented in the game are now impossible to follow up on, either because Google/Big Tech has neutered internet searches so severely, or because of the usual suspects using their favorite tactic of misdirection (Men in Black being the most obvious, similar to the PRISM thing back in 2013).

Their equipment is there and you can do quests for them, but they don't do a damn thing themselves. They literally just hire you to shoot random people while wearing their equipment, make a drug lab for them and other random shady business.
