No man's sky continues to be a dogshit collectathon on top of The-Sims style house builder. It's not a sci-fi game, it's just collectables.

I just wish these redditors would learn to make cool stuff. I would enjoy No Man's Sky if it had some cool ships, guns, armor, enemies, but it is sooo fucking infantilized. Everything looks like a toy.
The one thing Star Citizen does right, it's how everything looks. My god, the ships in that game and so fucking awesome. It's so cool as fuck. Shame it isn't a game.

Over the years as a gamer I've come to understand that whenever a developer brags about how large a part of their map is, it always actually means "we have a massive boring empty zone where there's nothing to do that will make it take longer for you to travel between point A and point B"
