They believe they can just keep increasing the prices of everything because so far it's been returning well. They actually think capitalism has "infinite growth" when resources are limited and workers are becoming even more limtied now with fewer and fewer people in positions that would be able to train the future employees to keep the business running. Just look at Elon Musk. People praise him as a genuine but he was just a rich kid who dropped money on the right thing at the right time. He didn't invent Teslas, he didn't invent PayPal, and SpaceX is entirely managed by actual scientists and nerds.

I don't get it. I enjoy going for a walk once in a while, have a slice of cake and a cup of coffee in a cafe and I'm happy to see my colleagues the two days a week where I can't work from home.
