If only they made a sequel with massively improved AI but it didn't have one or two random features from fucking modded warband so you started a half-decade-long rage campaign on /v/ instead of just playing the better game.

Will AI ever be good enough for strategy? I feel like no matter what I play, this, total war, paradox games, CoH, if the enemy ai isnt cheating out their ass the game is always a cakewalk, the computer can barely do more than run the enemies at your general direction.

shame they destroyed Multiplayer for bannerlord
warband mult was/is so much better
the reg events for warband/and ts mods back in the day were so fucking, its still semi active now but no where near as big as it was 8 years ago
where you had whole communities dedicated to different mods

I remember a mod that made the AI good, and it was so good, I didn't want to play the game with the mod anymore. I think it was called Brainy Bots.

I'm playing prophesy of pendor right and its really hard without save scumming

I spent 500 days getting a castle, a custom knighthood order, level it up, prepare a big army for rebellion, and when I actually rebel and the army I was expecting shows up from the other side of the world, they fight a deathstack and one of the lords rescues 7000 prisoners into his army making it impossible to defeat. At that point I restarted my ~10-hour save.

But it's the only mod that I know of with a reworked auto-calculate battle system that actually makes endgame conquest tolerable. One time I went from rebellion to world domination in 5 real world hours in 1 sitting.

As for the gems, they're indeed very hard to get. Try the hideout one next, and once you're a king or marshall you can hunt deathstacks.
