I both love and hate the last boss for essentially training me to handle every single move she made in order to win, lots of soulslikes do that but in her case it was very demanding. Third phase was a bit random though

Third phase is easier than what it looks desu, it's only extremely intimidating when you see the boss dash around the entire screen but the hitboxes and the parry timing are actually pretty forgiving, people just tend to fuck up when they panic

Awesome fight but if they were going to introduce that I would've done it sooner, I'd been x5 bursting to punish heavy attacks on every single enemy up to that point and had to switch up my playstyle just for her, which what she should have been was a culmination in techniques you'd learned up to that point

Yeah I used the default talisman with the arrow recovery/interrupt arrow which is a godsend for that fight. Interrupt arrow stopping her stupid giant blasts makes the fight so much more tolerable because that attack is a waste of time at best and if you're close enough you can hit her after the interrupt too

At this point everyone knows Wukong's story and the game doesn't really try too hard to make anything new, the graphics are cool but they're just the usual hyper-realistic stuff so who cares, the gameplay is the usual stuff, the characters don't really have too much to say.

The game really needed an NG+ that makes things way harder. I get that pre-Eigong bosses are kinda easy to ease the players in, but there really should've been a post-launch update that adds an NG+ with bosses that have an additional phase. I love the game but it's baffling that the devs have nothing planned for the game outside of the rudimentary boss select mode (even the modded boss rush that an anon shared last year was better, it has a post-run summary to show how well you did).

A Hat in Time had better post launch support and the devs even added a difficulty tier for the hardcore grognards.

She had bullshit ones, but she also had certain reactions that force her to let you do a 5 pop.
It's been a minute though, so I don't really remember the specific ones.
Her 50/50 rapid slash was one I do remember at least. If you wait outside of the range so it whiffs and try to dash in at the very end to tag her, she just keeps pressuring you and won't let you pop them.
If you stand in it and parry the whole thing, she'll stand there afterward just long enough for a tag and full burst to go off.
The green parry on her dash was another that kinda pissed me off.
If you parry it, she'll stop and let you blow a full load on her face if you're quick, but if you just jump over it, she'll keep up the pressure.
There were multiple times I went to parry it and missed, but I went for the dash thinking for sure I had landed it, only to leave myself open and get hit by her next attack despite dodging the dash, simply because I never registered a parry to make her chill the fuck out for a second.

Ohhh, it's a Ukrainian/Catalan thing where you take a preexisting dialect like Occitan and then say its ACTUALLY a separate "national" language. I guess Hokkien is at least actually mutually unintelligible with Mandarin.
