I took a break for almost a month. But I'm going to start playing again tonight. I can't stay away from it. It's an addiction. But because i have these amounts of hours i burned myself out. So I've been sort of waiting on updates to expand it. I might try to go figure out how the night market economy works. It's the only part of the game that i didn't get a grasp on yet.

I somehow missed Aneurism 1 through 3 so I'll just give this one a pass until I can rectify that error.

No. It's like Garry's Mod dark RP but as a fully fleshed out game and no moderators to ruin the fun. But because it's so wild like that it means it's harder to fully enforce the idea of RP at times and you'll inevitably have people giving you a hard time. Which may not be for everyone. And it's heavily inspired by George Orwell's 1984 and the half 2 beta concept of city 17. The PVP aspect has to do some with a sort of faction system of cortex vs the scum who live under the city. Aneurism IV started its life on gmod servers i believe, but then then was developed into a game Some of the maps still exist on steam workshop, and there was an identical idea on garry's mod called Industrial Nightmare: Liver Failure.

That's wild. I never had a good grasp on how popular DarkRP was since I never played much of it.
It's neat to see that some full games have come out of that community.

I'm pretty sure i saw the dev actually in the server of the game i was playing. I have no idea who he is because i don't ever use the discord, he seemed okay. I heard him pretty much relaying the story about it coming from GMOD. Just casually talking to people in the server. I didn't know that he's a transvestite. This game has practically no filter how racist and how offensive you can be by the way. Unless you're in some community server that has some rules on that, nobody gives a shit. So if you think online games have been sanitized nowdays, it pretty much reminds me of every source game back in the day.

Yeah i really suggest getting into Aneurism IV. It's a very unique game, one of the few online games that made me just want to sit there for full nights playing it. Once you learn the ropes of it then it's incredibly fun. It just reminds me of the good old days of the half life goldsrc modding communities as much as it does Gmod. Like the Specialists Role Play. It has that very same appeal.

Nope. If this games playerbase would die you can't do much with it after that. I've already accepted getting months worth out of it was worth more money than i spent on an overwhelming majority of triple A games I've owned. So that's how i see it. If you do play it i reckon you'll get your moneys worth. Just not as singleplayer, because it's not that. I wish an ANEURISM IV singleplayer game it existed because the atmosphere for this game is top tier. Quite literally cannot point to one single game that looks like it outside some of the the gmod servers. Pic rel is some unreleased game i found. It is aesthetically unique on top of being a unique game too.

The numbers of Aneurisms is just tied back to it's origins on Gmod. There's literally no Aneurism games that have existed. It's just the fictional name of the city. But the game does actually have some lore which is in the wiki i think. It's not important in other words.

When I first played the game I got some random item drop and sold it for 20$ also being the only doctor in war time factory is really fun
