Good spies place the sapper right as their team mate starts shooting at it, stops the engie being able to heal the sentry cause all his swings go to the sapper. I see this all the time as I main heavy, spies sitting patiently on a nest and sap everything when I get there and start shooting.

Heavy gets assraped by Demo and Soldier easily, even with a medic glued to his ass. Even Spy gets a piece of that ass most of the time, because of how large a target he is. Soldier and Demo outclass him solely because they can output just as much damage and have more mobility.

Exactly. Heavy is a monster in damage in theory, but it's not scary at all when you realize that he has no way of closing the distance. If you don't run around corners carelessly or run into heavies in a straight line the most the class can do is low chip damage while most attack classes ass rape him, and the rest can just flee an encounter and retreat. Only new players die to heavies.

i WISH looking at the spy were a reliable defense to a backstab, it literally is not though because they can just swerve left and right and given that stabs are detected on their side, all it takes is for them to load your hitbox before your turn registers on their end. what's annoying is they then think they've "tricked" you when in actual fact all they've done is abused an exploit which is inexplicably accepted as part of the gameplay now

The wrangler has such a big weakness in that your sentry's autofire is completely disabled. The engineer needs to see the target which makes him extra vulnerable. I think it's an OK addition. As for "spam deleter"... it's just too easy to sticky or rocket a sentry to death completely unopposed. And nobody is THAT attentive that he's always able to flawlessly delete incoming fire. I don't feel like that's all that broken.

I'm a heavy main, I'm pretty good at the game, 5k hours and usually top scoring, and scout is probably the class that beats me in 121 more than any other. Heavy excels at medium range, if you have a scout running circles around you point blank and doing backflips over your head landing meat shot after meat shot it's fucking hard to keep your aim on them and they can fuck you up pretty quick.

man, sometimes some sentries don't want to die. I mainly play with the direct hit and whenever i see a wrangled sentry i just ignore it now. I can empty 6 (six) shots on it and it wouldn't die, and unlike the rocket launcher, the splash damage doesn't kill the faggot engie repairing it and aiming it at me so it's useless. I've had multiple pushes where i was ubered as heavy and 3 feet away from a wrangled sentry, unloading every single bullet into it and it still wouldn't fucking die. My problem with sentries can be boiled down to the fucking wrangler

Tell me exactly what metric is it whereby heavy is bad.? It's been established with Compfags the only real reason they don't use him is because of rollout because when that was addressed with the old GRU compfags and went on record to acknowledge that it not only made heavy viable but that it caused them problems because it made the game unfun.

Meanwhile in pubs you get actual steamrolls which you've just sad isn't actually hard to do with the class.

That's how it always was. Time-based afterburn is cringe and I'm glad they removed that shitty nerf, Pyro should be a hard HARD counter to Spy, he should not be able to extinguish and disappear in a fraction of a second. You touch the flame you burn for the full duration every time, simple as, don't go near pyro if you're a cloaked spy.

Yeah that's fun to do and incredibly satisfying but it requires a specifc sentry location where you're able to do that.

Taking out sentries with projectiles, but it around corners or outranging them will always be the most reliable way to take them out but you're always going to have a problem with the enemy players can interrupt you.

The only thing I agree with is that it is weird how inefficient Spy is at dealing with sentry nests. Against one single engineer it is about skill, but it only takes two engineers for it to become impossible for a spy to sap.

In the end spy can only contribute by sapping the turrets at the exact moment their team decides to push, which requires a level of coordination that you won't find in pubs.

I don't understand why people like to fellate the pistol so much, 9/10 times I get zero use out of it unless I'm using the FaN or Soda Popper. The accuracy isn't nearly consistent enough to secure a kill from medium range, you're better off just using your remaining scattergun shots.
