Most of that is just heatsink, literally. I don't mind it actually since I use a double tower air cooler too, so it fits in a way

I mean, it’s all heatsink. Bigger is always better for temperatures. Once I’ve assembled the PC, the GPU size doesn’t really affect me anyway.

Anonymous No.719242779
>>719242364
It barely makes a difference, especially when you already have a rear exhaust fan on the back of your pc case. It's also retarded how he went with an overpriced air cooler that gets outperformed by like a $30 chink cooler that also looks better visually.

Are the LED on the fans bright enough to light that much in the case? Either way, nice build. If I returned to adding RGB in my case I would probably copy this idea.

Am i asking for too much? Considering how pc gaymers slap lgbt light all over their rig i would imagine it'd make sense for case manufacturer's to provide color options beyond black and white.

Anonymous No.719244670 >>719245325

It's about the surface area. Also it's better weight wise since you don't want your cooler to gradually bend your motherboard.

Anonymous No.719245325

You'd get more surface area. Maybe it has to do with weight.

>>719244716
You'd still have one fan blowing of course, heat would spread out more so it wouldn't need to be super loud.

I'm still not sure why two fans in a split CPU cooler is not just a gimmick. Should be cheaper to sell if it is bundled with just one fan as well.

it's not as simple, fresh air needs to moved across the metal surface. if you build deeper radiator fins air pressure is lost along the path of the airflow. metal surface cooling area with no fan in front of it is ineffective at dissepating heat
