Theres growing disatisfaction with remakes right now specifically because people have been complaining for a while. It sounds ridiculous but normies are cattle and need to be told what to think over and over before their opinions change, they dont think for themselves
They listen to youtube essays and repeat those, they thought nickelback was good till a comedian cracked a joke about one of their songs being annoying, etc etc
