Why are there so many hackers in Battlefield 6?

At least 10% of all online fps players on PC use cheats. The most commonly used cheats are wallhack (ESP) and radar.

This means that every single lobby has at least one person using an ESP cheat. Most are smart enough to hide it by not tracking players through walls and only engaging when they have a line of sight. Very few ESP cheaters get banned because it's hard to prove in most cases.
Most cheats are essentially a subscription service and they usually cost anywhere from $10 to $50 a month. Detections are extremely rare and when they do happen, the service providers update their cheats within an hour.

They're easy to buy and install, it literally takes 10 clicks.

I think it's way more. Ban waves often ban 50k - 100k+ accounts at a time, and that's just the morons using cheap $10 subscriptions and free cheats from public forums.
PC gaming is a joke and forced crossplay is ruining console gaming too.

Can confirm because I used to cheat in COD multiplayer a couple of years ago. I paid $30 for three months and only used walls and a very subtle aimbot (you can configure it and make it almost impossible to detect.) It was extremely easy to install and use and I didn't get banned.

Even 10% is too much because battlefield and warzone lobbies have 64 - 150 players, that's at least 6 shitheads with walls, but realistically it's probably is closer to 30% in battlefield games, especially older titles because they essentially don't even have anti cheat software and the developers don't care so reporting does nothing.

cheats make money, can even create streaming careers and whatever their cost is its still cheaper than buying a cronus zen like console subhumans
