Thanks, though sorry to disappoint you, but it was the horsefuckers who got me started in fanart. I do want to make more vidya fanart, though I haven't really found a game whose style clicks with me. Maybe Silksong will give me more inspiration.

What are you drawing, and what (specifically) are you having trouble with?
This is what construction is for. You start large (big circles or whatever), establish your forms/symmetry, and then fill out the details on top of that. Many beginner artists fail to understand what construction is actually for. It's not a necessary step, but it is very helpful if you're having issues with perspective and form placement.

Post what you're doing here and maybe we can help more.

That's not nearly as bad as you made it out to be. Just keep going. If it's imperfect, that's fine, you can fix it later. You really do have to trust the process. Don't try and get it perfectly in one shot. It's all iterative.

square for hands does work because the hand is flat (i usually use the whole mitten for guidance, but same principle), but feet are a lot more complex and look a lot worse if they aren't just right. and it's a lot harder to reference your own feet lol

I must also give you big props for keeping Floatzel's face so on model! I really like the long, toothy animal muzzle it's supposed to have instead of the squished, humanized furry face most artists slap on there.

Also, not a bad concept. I just think it's the execution that's holding you up. I know thay happens to me too. Take a break, try drawing something else, then start a robo-krystal drawing anew.
