How would you have "corrected" it then?

Just remove HP altogether. It's a pretty bullshit mechanic. You run out of HP and you have to start over from your last save or checkpoint? What kind of fucking retard thought that would be a good game mechanic and why has it been in games for basically forever?

I want a survival game that considers reality lol. Like if I dont eat for 40 in game days (considering I like in game days of at least 6 hours real time that’s a long ass game time) I will slowly become weak and die eventually. Not the current β€œeat every 10 real time minutes otherwise your character will instantly fall off and die.

Interesting. Great suggestion, very thoughtful.
>health meter
Disgusting, no doubt. Having two bars doesn't solve the problem. Working with lethal injuries and debilitating injuries is tedious.

I just finished my annotated bibliography with SEVEN different sources and a paragraph each annotating them AND reflection questions but I can't even submit it until I write ANOTHER 1500 word essay evaluating one of them more in depth. How do I replenish stamina irl, I already took a break? After that I have to read three sections about bullshit too.

Its so lazy devs don't have to make the npc change their pace dynamically to keep up with you
If it always ran as fast as you did, if you stopped at all you would never catch up
