I feel like ellie is one of the genuinely good characters to come out of this series. She's not annoying and over the top and feels like a normal person stuck on pandora. without abusing the abilities, uvhm is fucking miserable. you cant oneshot with a sniper at all and half the legendaries become unusable

honestly i might start a new character just so i get to experience the post game in normal, which might not be as challenging as tvhm or uvhm but at least it's consistent. there's no marauders oneshotting you from across the map with a lone stray pellet from a shotgun

I could tell 2 was leading the seroes in a bad direction because
A) the immensely bigger emphasis on voice acting, plot/ character development, etc
B) all the gay shit sprinkled across the numerous echos
C) a unskipable and mandatory scooter quip about not making fun of lard because lard
1 had a better campaign (virtually non-existent story)
2 had better gameplay and replayability
