In the story mode? It gets retarded at some points. Just play on easy. I managed to get to the last stage of the game when I was a kid so that should mean something
And in the arcade mode you can have infinite points, just level up everything and get to that repairing pad and just spam lightning bolts, they literally can't kill you. On my screenshot above I have over 1mil

I also played this on the wii. I liked it. It might actually be interesting to go back and replay. I liked the look and feel of the game a lot.

I barely remember this game since I probably played, at most, a few hours of it when I was younger than ten. I remember it being a strategy RPG that let you create your own units, and that you were some kind of bounty hunter or treasure hunter, maybe both.

there was something about the creature fighting that I found frustrating and at times unenjoyable, but I was pretty bad a video games as a kid
game had a rune drawing mechanic that was pretty fun. Spent a lot of time trying different combinations to unlock spells
