Honestly think the stomp vs be stomped thing is a result of the healing in this game being so strong between your healers being supbar and good dive players constantly taking healers, it's just to easy for a match to turn into a stomp.

I'm not surprised this happened.
It's a fun game but their inability to balance really fucked it up.
Like dude, if you just go play comp you'll notice everyone ban the same 4 characters but somehow or maliciously the devs REFUSE to nerf any of them or even take a look at them.

It's the matchmaking, people hate it.
Either Quick match or Comp, it doesn't matter. 75% of the matcher are lopsided and retarded.
I usually look at the opponent's history, the common composition is:
Winning team: all gold/platinum
Losing team: 5 silver/ 1 GM

People are logging int to get their weekly currency and leave.

I was playing as c&d with a luna and a loki the tank was strange and dps were iron fist and magic.. We synced our ults so we had two Luna ults back to back and I Ulted after. The other team was so butt blasted that they switched to mag and ironman to counter ult. After mag slam dunked me once strange swapped to mag to bubble my ult and when ironman blasted Loki cross dressing as Luna iron fist swapped to hulk to bubble her ult. It was pure cancer. They had an Adam and a mantis so of course they blamed the healers but we really were cancer that match..
I also got my first Hexakill with Jeff ult yesterday, surprised it doesn't have an achievement. They were chasing me the rest of the match. There's times as a Jeff player that you can feel the pure hatred of the people attacking you. The amount of solo ults you get as Jeff is unbelievable. I always use my ult to bait a mag or ironman ult so our Luna IW or dagger can ult safely. It works 90% of the time

It has always been a shit game. I played 6 hours when it came out and saw it was just a shit OW clone. They didnt learn any of the lessons from OW ( double shields, busted supports, horrid maps) and people thought it was gods gift because some characters had a nice ass. The skill expression in that game is trash as well you can even fucking crouch, everyone has a fuck huge hitbox and you shoot tree trunks so aiming is lenient. Trash game, people just got snow bunny mind controlled.

the healing ult meta overshadows most of the plays people are making, it invalidates like 3 supports
range duelists are ultimately the strongest playstyle in the game because theres no risk when someone can just stand back and poke everything to death
all damage and healing is overtuned which makes the game feel insuffurable
stun spam is slowly but surely creeping into the game with every character release because for some reason every character no matter the role has some form of stun some worse than others

the ban system is terrible and tries to add depth and surprise to bans when everyone should be able to see who's banning what and on top of this one retard can ban a joke character and his ban will get priority over 3 others

the game really is a joke, and they're still going all in on skins instead of addressing problems with the game's fundemental core balance.
The cope in /mrg/ and on reddit is unbelievable too, there are people who cant even bring themselves to accept that certain heroes are blatantly overpowered because they're porbably fucking playing them lol.

Im not even angry, im just disappointed that this is how the game went. netease had all the cards to make this better and bigger than ti should have been.

Rivals has by far the worst aiming in any game I've played.

Hitboxes are all over the place, movement speed is insane, there is next to no momentum, most ranged attacks are slow ass projectiles with weird hitboxes and huge damage falloffs, effects and even ui elements obscure everything, and finally they even fucked up the reticle.

As someone who played Rivals a decent amount the first months after release, I just think the game is very stale. The meta is the same it was at launch. Healer ult into healer ult. None of the characters save for Spider-Man have much mechanical depth to them.
