The writing is good, especially the ways skill interact, but literally all gameplay elements, including quests and skill checks are fucking abysmal. Also the ending(s to both major plot threads) are complete dogshit and a complete smack in the face to all the """choices""" you made throughout the game

This is a horrendous detective game
Barely anything you investigate matters, especially at the end of the game, where solving the bullet trajectory skill check tells you they came from the 3rd island you've never been to... but you can't go there until the story dictates it.
And if you need a bunch of communists to tell you captailism = bad facism bad = bad idk what to tell you
