Why is this game's pvp system just full of the same shit?
>load up any invasion covenant
>people that run around anor londo or road of sacrifices in a cartoony ass chase of "pvp" with all the enemies definitely not despawned
>meta fags full poise armor spear hornet super curved sword buffed tears of denial that animation cancel out of estus and buffs at only level 60+ over 400ms that hit you from 5m away etc
>all chinese korean or russian hacker weeb faggots and or cheaters that exploit glitches like animation cancelling or shifting between weapon arts or cancelling the endlag of a swinging animation and play from family shared accounts
DS1 and 2 pvp from invasions from my experience has never been terrible, but this shit is completely unplayable in modern day.

The core issue is that From Software is a D-tier developer who give zero fucks about their games' health. Every other issue can be traced back to this. A significant part of not giving an f about the health of their games is that they either don't care about or more likely actively despise the PC community and the non-Japanese market. They are happy to take our money, tho.

Hacking is overwhelmingly a thing on PC, not Snoystation. And because it's mostly a PC issue, they could not be bothered to put an anti-cheat in their game. Japanese people have region lock for themselves in the game, and they can play with each other just fine. Who gives a shit about the rest of the world? Definetaly not Fromsoft. No functional netcode that works farther than 300km physical distance needed, either.

The glitches are just piss-poor programming work coupled with From's very quick product cycle. By that I mean is that they are very quick to go to the phase where they don't support their product anymore. It would take approximately 0 effort to fix the most offending glitches such as Estus cancel. But it would require giving a fuck about the game's health, which From just won't ever do. Now go on buy the next soultrash, so that too, can be abandoned immediately after the last DLC for it is released.

When I was doing my platinum a year ago, I did watchdogs/sentinels at SL 20/WL2 and then did everything besides faithfuls at SL35 Cathedral. It was 95% honest co-op and newbie solo hosts. I can't stand the pvp culture in this game otherwise. Sprinting through the linear levels with all the mobs cleared out before getting blendered by three smoughs is totally asinine
