It's a masterpiece but I admit it has it's moments where you will fall asleep. The intro bit with the snow and the mountain is a fucking slog. Also whenever you go to that tropical island...another fucking slog. The island bit wouldn't be so bad if you actually had shit to do and could explore but it's basically one long corridor mission after mission after mission, which fucking sucks. You don't even get to take it all in.

Yes I know they had planned more for it but that doesn't absolve them for still putting that bit in the game.

That's subjective with a variable extent of engagement between "just the story" to "fucking off and living alone for months doing side content". I loved it and I leaned towards the latter but it's extremely up to who you ask.

The controls were just so bad i couldn’t stand it. But i enjoyed watching my brother play it. Probably my biggest gaming disappointment desu

yeah, this. also i liked this game enough to want to 100% it but rockstar always seems to actively MAKE the process be as tedious and annoying as possible. for example:
