Probably because the 99/100 times ones that do clearly deserved to lose that job. Unfortunately the ones you want to lose their job only ever loses it for roughly 2 months. They later show right the fuck back up on another development team. Probably one that makes games you like. Since the industry has a god damn revolving door of ineptitude problem.

I get it. it's a sign that someone somewhere is finally losing money, and I'm not talking about the devs who got fired, I mean the company that fired them must have seen a reduction in profits at the very least. and that part is good. this industry must burn to the ground so a phoenix can rise from the ashes. we're nowhere close to that point of CORRECTION we need to achieve.
