it really is crazy seeing all the praise for BG3 despite the clearly unfinished act 3 and the devs outright refusing to continue working on it despite releasing enhanced editions for their older titles, really goes to show that 80-90% of people just play the beginning parts of a game and then just drop it

indians hate E33 because the devs didn't outsource to india.

Act 3 is by far my favorite act, and I will never understand the negativity around it. It's so content-dense and open-ended, and really makes you feel like a small-towner in a big city. The city itself is so beautifully realized, with incredible locations and verticality.
I'm just glad to see a few people agreeing with me now and then, so I don't feel like I'm crazy.

E33's third act is literally just copy-paste unreal asset world and empty smaller maps with sometimes a shitty picto or costume in them, absolute jokes like the flying casino/manor which had fucking nothing in them, oh and two good bosses

BG3 act 3 felt rushed story and pacing wise, there was plenty of good content to test out your end game builds that was fun. My main gripe is minor stuff like the emperor immediately going back to the absolute if you free Orpheus when previously at the start of the chapter siding against him was a game over.

E33 had a similar thing going on, plenty of content in act 3 but minor plot stuff like Lune and Sciel just making a few one off voice lines when their entire world is at risk seems meh. Also Maelle going from a selfless heroine wanting to protect her friends to a spoiled brat more considered about living in the painting forever kinda ruined her character for me.
