they can't keep getting away with it

maybe you should also count every console on the market, since AMD is powering the PS5 and series X

Maybe stop buying their trash and they'd have a bit less of a monopoly. Personally have no interest in their shitty gimped cards and atrocious drivers.

why the fuck is amd so unpopular? ive gone bacck and forth between amd and nvidia every gen based on who has the better deal and the better product. right now i have a rx 7900xt i paid $800 for and its absolutely a great high end card. the nvdidia equivalent would be well over $1k.

Every card on the top is literally e-waste, the normal cattle really will buy anything. Funniest thing is they're all the same idiots who will then whine every game runs like shit on their poopy gimped gpus.

AMD is barely catching up. Intel and AMD need to share their pool of talent.

I think the next series of AMD cards could make or break them.

Is DLSS really popular or something? does anyone here use it alot?
Anonymous No.719692126 >>719695178
>90% of gamers use DLSS frame generation when available according to Njudea telemetry
the average consumer has no standards and will accept massive input delay and ghosting for fake frames

I think this is actually even more depressing than how well the PS5 sold
Anonymous No.719692245
>>719691971
They need to actually try to compete, their RDNA 4 cards are seriously good but they are suffering from a massive lack of stock and a paper launch, had they actually been available for the 500ish they claimed they would have cut into the market share. I mean look at the awful dogshit the average consumer buys from nvidia, it's not the high end shit keeping them on top.

Idc. Let the cattle enjoy their e waste. This is real premium quality. If u don't have a 16gb gpu, you should just go back to the corner of the class and hide there. Let the real gamers play.

if u have a Rx 6000 you're okay tho

Impressive shit bruh. The prices are insane online for those cards. I got mine at $400 including tax. But this truly does feel like a next gen upgrade. Fsr 4 feels like what dlss was hyped up to be all those years ago. And I can do gay tracing too if I wanted. It's basically my 1080ti now.

Intel Celestial or Druid by around 2027. By the time 18A process node matures, they'll be able to produce GPU chips in their own fabs to supply the prebuilt manufacturers and undercut Nvidia tax.

Radeon is popular in the DIY market but they have virtually no prebuilt presence because they're supply constrained by TSMC.
>the nvdidia equivalent would be well over $1k.
Not in the prebuilt market. Nvidia prices are competitive for OEM companies.

The giga cope is that since 3GB VRAM GDDR7X modules are now being produced and either phasing out the 2GB GDDR6 ones or they're cheap enough to use over the 2GB modules. So current cards are 2GBx4 (8GB) which will turn into 3GBx4 (12GB).

I have a 6800XT since 2020, I got the XFX Merc, which is one of the top 3 models for it. It's quiet, it's efficient (well, was) and doesn't get too hot. I got it for $600 within the mining craze of the time.
I'm definitely not looking to go for that high end next time, but I think for its value for money, up until 2025, it was the best card in the market.

12GB were barely scrapping by in 2019. If you buy an 8GB card today, you might as well game in 720p. Some games won't even load that up.

It's not DLSS 4, but it is catching up.
Hardware unboxed had a few videos on it.
