I just started playing WuWa and I always feel unnerved when I hear chinese words. I don't know why but something feels really uncomfortable with them. I know it's just me since over a billion people speak mandarin and they aren't being worn down like they're staring at manmade horrors beyond our comprehension, and I want to feel better about hearing the words because I don't want to deny myself good chinese games.

It just takes work to understand and get used to. The west has been insulated from Chinese culture our entire lives (whether intentionally or unintentionally), defaulting to Greco-Roman/European and other western sounding naming structures, so just try to follow along when starting out.

Just listen to it more. Korean and Chinese both sounded weird as fuck when I first started hearing them but now I'm used to them.

Not a single one exists. Chinese games are either bootleg ripoffs of western masterpieces or gachaslop. Gachaslop is not good. Gachaslop will never be a good game.
