then take away 30% for platform fees

15M multiplied by $7 is $105M

there's 3 dudes, 4 if you include the composer, so they're each getting at least $25M

so they're all rich as hell, and that's before the fact that silksong is going to sell 5M copies instantly or worrying about things like gamepass payouts

The 30% platform is just the start. you can count on paying lots of additional taxes for game sales, esp for other countries. Most devs will get an average of 30-50% per sale, and thats before regional pricing (HK is lower than $10 base in many countries w/ weak currencies)
So all things considered, theyre probably getting $3-7 per sale. No way its anywhere near 10
