SH2 is a little more reasonable because it is more than just a port with prettier graphics, but MGS3 has no excuse. it's very clearly just a lazy remaster they didn't bother to optimize at all. last I heard a bunch of hold up mechanics aren't working correctly on top of generally poor performance.

I didn't turn off framegen because I have smooth motion turned on (which framegens even when framegen is unsupported or off), but this is about 50 or so FPS above native with FG, and having a higher source framerate makes it less laggy and artifacty. Pretty sure SH2R ran better than this, I haven't tested Delta myself but my 3070 ran SH2R at 60fps using DLSSQ at 1440p no issues really. Also that game has way bigger levels
