Why keep trying to replicate something that already exists and you can play whenever you feel like it without dropping 80 bucks for it?

Most people aren't autistic enough to replay the same content for 20 years

Didn't they already try it with back to blood or whatever the fuck that was, and it sucked anyway? What makes them think it will be any different this time lmao.

Because he wants to get a salary of a game director/producer, and investors can offer him money only under the promise of making something as popular as his previous work

>left 4 dead but with tedious engagement progression systems and spending systems. The game was trash but one of the reasons i like l4d is its simplicity. Yoi just jump in and thats it. No grinding shit no other external factors other than making it from A to B with friends.

I don't get it. A "simple" game like l4d will never be released today, becase times have changed. Nowadays progression system is expected in every game, otherwise if it's not present the zoomers will interpret it as nothing to do and get bored and leave. Everybody who think any new game released won't include progression system or similar live service elements are coping hard and detached from reality.

Dumb in general, but L4D is Source 1 which is one of the shittiest engines being used right now. Just realize they haven't fixed the looping sound bug during loadscreens in over twenty years
