Graphicsfags ruined everything.

Color was revolutionary. Adding individual hairs on someone's model is not. Graphics have not made any worthwhile advances for nearly two decades now.

The PC Master Race marketing campaign worked too well, so now console sheep who should've been penned in with the rest of their ilk forced their way in. Demand goes up, so do the components, and then the quality dips.
Arrogance bit them in the ass, they did it to themselves.

The company is worth 4 trillion US dollars. They hold all the resources in this area and can do anything to you and you're not allowed to take their stuff or the government will lock you in a cage. It's called civilisation.

The crypto boom showed Nvidia that they can charge whatever the fuck they want and get away with it, can you blame them?
Until they get some actual competition it's only gonna be worse.
CPUs are going down the same path, Intel shit the bed and is losing the desktop market fast, so AMD is gonna bump the prices as well

this, cryptoniggers dont care about PC Gamers and along with developers refusing to optimize for lower cards because they want gamers to only play on the newest shit, this is why a lot of normalfags are starting to return to consoles, its doesn't make any financial sense to be forced to upgrade every 2 years when the current consoles will cover you for at least the next 8-10 years

My favorite part is anyone who bought an 8GB VRAM GPU in 2020-2025 (still to this day sold) have purchased e-waste that isn't even good for native 1080p modern PC ports of PS5 era. So they shamefully sell their bad graphic cards and buy a new one from NVIDIA for the low price of 600-900 dollars for the middle tier 16GB GPU. After calculating the loss of their first GPU, they're well over 1000 dollars into NVIDIA's pockets.
That's what PC gaming is Uzzy nsilvias trannies.

>2020 COVID tourists, AI bots purchasing, 8GB VRAM cancer grips the industry
>2024 AI graphic cards dominate NVIDIA's market (90% profit is AI cards) and Unreal Engine 5/new hire developers are dogshit at porting PC games
As you can see the last decade for PC gaming has been astonishingly bad for consumers. Incidentally the GTX 1000 Pascal family was released right before the shit really hit the fan, it is noted for being the best value NVIDIA family of cards in different tiers from entry GTX 1050Ti to the GTX 1060 middle tier to the higher 1070 and 1080 tiers with a lot of VRAM for their day. Raytracing has also had a major impact in PC games performance.
