I will never understand this. Like almost everyone in my country(Finland) if ever had a console from 5th gen onward was like 70% Playstation. Tho recent years some have been going towards PC, except the biggest EA Sports normalfags(mainly just for FIFA and NHL). Won't be surprised if that number drops even more due to constant price hikes.
I just have one coworker who owns PS5 and all he does is complain about game prices more than talk about games. He bought Astro Bot for his kid, but I just recommended getting a Switch 1 next for cheap, and Mario Odyssey for it if he can spot a used one from somewhere.

Which platform you play the most? I also have a PC and a PS5, but my PC collecting dust. It's just for retro emulations and a few pc/xbox games like Ori which are unavailable on PS.

Mine isn't because it's mostly used for spreadsheeting purposes, archiving (I have 9tb worth of hard drives plugged in) and the occasional CS/Civ match with friends, you know, games that are better or only played with a KB+M and you aren't missing much by playing them on a tiny cuck monitor

I've modded my PS2 so I can play all of its and PSX games. I've left my PS3 a virgin because I can find used games relatively easy and really cheap, like 10 euros with the case, booklets and with 0 scratches.

It's easier and more convenient to enjoy games on a big TV with it. PC can only sloppily emulate that experience and it's a pain in the ass trying to live that way.
The only reason I or would consider for anyone to primarily play on PC is if they live in a rathole of an apartment and need to consolidate all their gaming needs in a desk setup with everything digital.

Prices were going up regardless of tarrifs. Look at the PS5 pro, that came before tarrifs and was way more expensive than the ps4 pro. Sony was selling at a loss but no longer has a reason to now that Xbox is out of the market. If you want bleeding edge tech you're gonna have to pay for that.
