I feel like Yoshi P hates FFXIV, the hype of its relaunch carried with it a saga that, for all intents and purposes, has concluded. The game used a predictable content release schedule that has been exploited to the point that crafters made hundreds of millions of gil by betting that the meld system would be no functionally different in Dawntrail. I think the most disillusioning part was the Bozja-esque zone promising different classes. What came out was the same system as Bozja with a different name.

He’s stuck maintaining a carousel without passion or an end-goal in mind. Imagine being asked “What happens next” after a near decade long story ends, I’d go insane. “What do you mean? What else is there?”

He even put in allusions to future content in what seemed like a send-off or plot threads for the future writers to explore, only for them to bring back the ARR cast. It’s like they had a chance to wipe the slate clean and instead decided to have a go around once more.

Because it is an illusory house of cards. There is a specific zone of awareness that consciousness occupies. Too little and you are a moth running on pure instinct bashing your head into lights.
