I still have my boxed copy of Infinity and I always replay the first game with music on mute. It's not even decent and the atmosphere benefits from something moody like Lustmord.
Durandal and Infinity I only play vanilla, ie without music, to the soft humm of distant machines buried deep within the mega structures.

Just over halfway through the OST now and yeah it's excellent, the drums especially. It's been a while since I heard such a strong soundtrack that felt like it had actual musicianship beyond your standard cinematic orchestral fare. 'Hiroden 651' and 'Welcome' are my standouts so far in that they've been the ones that made me tab into Spotify to check the track names, but it's all been great. 'Scrap I/O' as I type this is playing an the genre blending really works well.
Will listen to the rest tomorrow after I wake up. Good stuff my niggers.

Tried playing this 2 years ago but uninstalled when I saw there was literally zero people playing. Like games like Dirty Bomb are dead too but at least there's still around four filled servers.
