Disney missed their shot. An open-world Duckburg game with heavy Barks influence was pitched, but after Epic Mickey 2 flopped they went into mobile games instead.

Not really one event though, is it. He comes back from Kalevala because the wizard reminds him that his "lost love still awaits him" in the Yukon. On the one hand he's spent the majority of his life fawning over her and refuses to pull his head out of his ass to go and make things right, on the other she's spent just as long by herself waiting for him to do something he's clearly never going to do.

Imagine tearing through Duckburg in a little red Roadster, evading Beagle Boy roadblocks, getting side missions from Launchpad, breaking into Gyro’s lab for gadgets, and pulling heists on Flintheart’s vault in a Jack Sparrow-tier rivalry. Anyone with decent dev skills and a love for Don Rosa needs to get on this ASAP, fan-made or not. Just don’t let Disney touch it, or it’ll be a gacha cash grab in a week.

Two or three chapters, very important ones as well, feature "Bombi the Zombie", a voodoo zombie sent after Scrooge because he ripped off some tribal leader.
Bombi being black, antagonistic, and tribal, was too much for modern day corporate Disney, so they removed any chapter with him in it from future publication henceforth.
So that means that either no more printings of Life & Times, or an incomplete, neutered version.
So any collection of the story has gone up in price, though not a hell of a lot so far.
I managed to get a copy of the Deluxe Edition after the news broke, but before supply ran out.
