I just can't imagine having this much of a reaction over it. I mean, obviously it's fake, but if we're going down the rabbit hole of "twitch viewers who buys it and thinks this is a touching emotional wholesome moment" that's where you have to start.
Don't get me wrong, when I get a tough challenge done there's definitely a nice moment after where I set the controller down and reflect on the emotional journey but literally screaming, crying, and the whole "OMG HONEY BRING TYRONE IN HERE!!! I DID IT!!!!" thing is like... Bro what are we doing here, it's a video game you didn't actually accomplish anything real

With the shit in the top right it seems obvious there was some sort of gimmick, so it isn't just beating a game it's some actual challenge he's probably been attempting for months across multiple games.

Yeah, even when finishing a good series like bebop or champloo would give you "the bebop blues", especially at a younger age, it shouldn't be enough to push you to tears or react strongly. More like a self reflection. No game has made me tear up. Hell people have cried over doms death in gears, whereas my reaction was the complete opposite and burst into laughter from the way he said "never thought it would end like this huh maria?"

Anyway, OP posted a bad example. The dude looks like he beat the game a bunch of times already and was crying over the challenge he mustve been doing forever. Not the story or the journey of the gameplay itself. I'd be willing to see his reactions during failed attempts. Does he cry there too?

the result is they have to find weird abstractions to express these instincts, and it manifest in speedrunning for some people. speedrunning is probably the biggest waste of human potential outside of war (and even war has its upsides, because it creates great men/technology, even if at the sacrifice of others). speedrunners dump thousands of hours into autistically doing the same thing with no tangible benefit, over and over. these are people who could have done great things, but were utterly destroyed by basedciety.
