Why does 4chan even have moderation? If they don't actually do anything to improve the board, and just play favoritism and use their position to shill really shitty games, then why even have moderation? I'd honestly trade gore spam for no moderation. It's odd that permanent generals on RPGs and genshin impact are enthusiastically encouraged while other threads are militantly deleted.

I've been finding other better places to post than 4chan nowadays. This place is starting to feel like something awful where everything is curated by tyrannical morons. There's like 2 boards I still come here for and they get worse every day. Anonymity now feels like it's for the benefit of the moderation, not the users.

I don't think there is a single person on 4chan who likes the janitors and thinks they do a good job. The same awful threads get made every day and anything different very blatantly gets shitposted down. Like are you gunna tell me the guy who spams off topic genre fiction threads every day isn't a mod? He's been at it every day for years, he's even doing it on /a/ now.

I don't think there are really very many people left here, which is why IP counters were taken away. If mods are going to be extremely biased they should be vetted for having shit taste in games. Like no good will come from having a mod that primarily plays games on a Nintendo console and only has access to 0.01% of what releases. Just fire those people immediately.

It would probably be more effective if threads were just randomly deleted once every 10 minutes like a lottery. That would likely catch the BBC threads faster and delete less actual video game threads.
