I read an interview with the producer of RE4 who said Mikami had no Japanese influences for the game and he was influenced by the many western games he played. Why does Mork keep mentioning "beat em up mechanics" and arcade design when he talks about this game?

He's mostly talking about it in the sense that RE4 encourages you to group together enemies so you can blast them all with a shotgun/grenade/mine dart etc in much the same way stunlocking a group of enemies with your basic punch in a beat em up is usually the safest and most optimal way to play

He glazes the shit of Shadow of the Ninja reborn but also whines about NG: Ragebound despite both of them having the same exact casualization, and of course he can get away with it because most of the retards who watch his videos never played the NES games

Ragebound looks it was designed for speedrunner faggots to be able bounce over half the game and if there's anything to criticize Mork about, it was his unwillingness to call out speedrunners in the review

The new items, especially the healing ones, are the most blatant, but there's other shit like your sword beams being able to cancel projectiles, the grappling hook and so on.
Not like I mind personally since Natsume's games in particular were never hardcore nor they ever tried to be but I hate pretentious retards with double standards like Mork.
