No, it's not, you fucking retard. Most NES, SNES, Arcade, GBC, GBA, Genesis, etc. games have 2-3 frames of lag. And you can only use run-ahead for input lag frames - 1 anyways.
>Run-ahead will literally get rid of all of native lag and handle input even better than a real console.
No, it doesn't. The real-world button to pixel input lag improvement is a half frame less than expected, there is uneven frame-pacing (timing issues/inaccuracy), input lag VARIANCE increases significantly (which is more important than raw input lag), and it does absolutely nothing to fix setup lag, display lag, controller lag, or V-Sync lag (RetroArch also can't do 60Hz low-lag with no screen-tearing like MiSTer can, you need high refresh-rate monitor)
Pretty much the only cases it is worth it is games with 5+ frames of input lag, where you can enable run-ahead with no significant impact on performance, and where reaction times are more important than timing consistentcy (very few games)
You are just a dumbass who is sipping the kool-aid and done zero real world tests. I've done thousands of tests with 240fps slow-mo camera, so just shut the fuck up about things you don't understand
