smite is just an ASSFAG from over the shoulder, it fundamentally still plays like league but with WASD controls
Deadlock is an actual hybrid of ASSFAG and TPS closer to monday night combat or battleborn but with actual shooter mechanics to try and make both halves engaging

took me around 25 to really begin understanding it
around 50 hours i started looking at guides to get better
