I personally couldn't imagine using public trackers anymore. Granted I've been invited to a very good one almost 15 years thanks to a friend and I have absolutely no idea how garbage the newer introduction systems are, but I reached a level where I don't even have to seed my torrents anymore. I can hit and run all I want and the autists fact check everything so I don't even have to worry about viruses anymore.

If you have the patience for it, then I really recommend private trackers, but I understand if this is too much of a hassle for many.

I've basically collected the Infinity Gauntlet having done almost nothing at all, got into AB when it had open signups and a friend gave me an invite to WhatCD before they closed. Turned those into the seed of getting into the rest. I'll probably be kicked off of RED within a year or two though, it's impossible to get ratio from there if you aren't actively being a piece of shit gaming pop music for seed time.
