yeah i loved the part where they made unskippable platforming segments with the clunkiest controls imaginable, using the platforming hook sections of DMC4 as reference and then splitting that one action across 2 bumpers and 2 triggers. it definitely wasn't gay at all.

I remember that Capcom Japan had offered support to use the Resident Evil 5 engine for the game, but Ninja Theory did not accept and preferred to use UE3 because it was simple to use, even if it was shit.

This is a problem that has become games, studios only look for shortcuts, looking for the simplest and easiest way to work so they can put thousands of freelancers on the project, and today games are basically pre-rendered films, many of the scenes are recorded in video and gameplay itself is extremely simple.
