In general, sure I agree with not attacking someone just because you don't like a product. Disliking a book ending or some voice actor is not cause for a death threat. But 14 messed up and trying to blame the players over what are relatively minor and fixable things (from a long term perspetive) is escalating it massively. It is feeling like gaslighting the company dropping the ball and turning it into someone yelling on twitter causing a bad expansion retroactively.

Even without the tranny, this expansion was doomed to fail. You come off a long and actual good story arc and what do you give players after? Filler. Literally no stakes filler.
I don't really wanna use gacha as a comparison but I will in this case since both are GAAS. FGO also had a strong ending of its first arc after 2,5 years. They too had a filler arc after but it actually tied into the main story as in cleaning up the remnant stragglers of the previous bad guy, some of which grew incredibly powerful themselves. FGO just outearned Hoyoslop in revenue last month and it's been in service for 10 years. You know what they never did? Have the player act as the personal butler of some NPC on a low stakes 'adventure'.
