Is it the best strategy game of all time?
Anonymous No.719778557 >>719778639
No. Especially not with the war of the chosen shit.

War of the Chosen sits in this annoying place where one of the Chosen showing up fucks up your entire mission, but all three of them become utterly trivial to deal with later in the campaign. The warlord is neutered by a single really easy to get item.

i loved it
used a couple mods to make shit easier though
like an extra grenade slot
bombarded the entire map with explosives/incendiaries
collateral damage on the hostages? who cares.

RNG fiesta on every level, still fun
>overworld map, first scan
>oh boy I hope it's an enginee...
>scan 7 days for rookie!
>oh...
>later in the game
>I really really need another engineer
>get 3 targets, one of the rewards is engineer, negates something trivial like psi zombies
>other event is major breakthrough on avatar project, reward is a fucking rookie

im a massive xcomlikes dick rider but i never could get into trouble shooter
Tried twice and couldnt get past the second real mission, something didnt click with me
I liked the enemies timeline disappearing when they were out of sight, i think that was a fantastic addon to the genre but other than that.... it just didnt click with me. Whatever
Thanks for reading my blog

Is troubleshooter even a xcom-like? That shill nigga keep forcing it into every xcom thread but from what i see it doesn't have the strategy layer, which is arguably the more important part of xcoms.

It's turn based, but essentially you have a super-anime character that'll face tank 50 enemies with a sword.
The novelty is an autistic "perk" system with hundreds of options (most useless). All that wrapped inside a nonsense plot.

Overall it's sort of ok, because it has lot's of different maps, something "good" xcom likes dont.
