the lack of Maxx C isn't the problem. the problem are the overwhelmingly powerful decks that Konami decides to release at full-power and keep at full-power for long enough to make dueling an absolute nightmare
among the decks with big enough sample sizes from the WCS, there's one in particular that absolute ruins the meta by winning 8/10 duels going first, and two others that win 7/10. on top of that, you also have a ridiculous FTK deck roaming free. other than those, other decks have a fairly reasonable winrate going first, around 50-60%
turnskip handtraps like Maxx C are a shit-tier baindaid fix for a game that's ruined by shit card design and shitty banlists, and they just make both dueling and deckbuilding less interesting

There's really nothing to discuss, meta is super stale, we have no meaningful packs or bundles, Duel Trials are trash and we're playing a waiting game until the next pack is released, which won't happen until the 10th. Last month was so boring that I went back to Silver because I couldn't bother to play Ranked at all during the whole month.

No Terahertz gives you more ED space and most of the time you can end on Apollousa + Hearts Crypter or Hearts Crypter into Firewall Dragon. A matter of preference but it's better to keep those 3-4 ED slots usable for more toolbox monsters.

It's literally true though. If everyone in a tournament is running Maxx "C" then the winrate for using it would be 50% as 1 person would win and 1 person would lose. You need to compare usage rate with winrate.
