Cockstar got too addicted to reselling the same game (GTA5) for almost a decade. The game is going to suck the largest of donkey cocks you could imagine. Rockstar died when it realized it didn't have to make new games anymore.

It only started full production after RDR2, Mario Kart World took longer. The only reason why Rockstar is so slow is because they only make live service games now. They can sit on GTA 5 a good 15 years instead of starting work on the sequel immediately
