That is one thing that everyone seemed to ignore: People who get an xbox do so to buy and play games. PS has way more normalfags who just buy one to collect dust and maybe watch netflix on it.

Cause helldivers 2 was unproven when it first released and there wasnt much hype for the release, it took word of mouth for it to get big

I feel like "in the first six days" is doing a lot of heavy lifting here, especially because Helldivers was really niche until the sequel came out, and even then it took a few weeks of people posting videos of it before it got traction

by the time it arrived on xbox it was already well-known how good the game was, so it's not that surprising that it sold more in the same timeframe
